Kel-Mar was faced with challenge of updating this building erected in the early 1800’s on a very stringent budget. The renovation - which included new interior finishes, air conditioning, handicap access and a complete façade restoration – demanded special consideration due to the age of the structure. Difficult soil conditions necessitated extensive excavation and structural concrete work to create a new handicap access. Kel-Mar’s complete restoration of the façade, including masonry pointing and acid wash, restored the building to its former beauty.
